Erika Ruscil Name:  Erika Ruscil

Grade:  Senior

Role Model:  I believe my sister, Gina, is my role model. Her never ending smile and positive energy is addicting and makes you want to always surround yourself with her presence. I have looked up to her all my life and strive to be as happy and successful as her some day.

Teacher with the most impact:  Each teacher in a certain way throughout my experience at Shore has impacted me not only academically, but emotionally, as well. They challenged me and made me work to my best ability, while having fun at the same time. One teacher who stood out to me the most was Ms. Schmid (Math). Ms. Schmid pushed me to work hard and proved to me that a little hard work could make a big difference.

Activities:  I am the captain of the Varsity Girl's Basketball team, a member of the Interact Club, and manage the Freshman Baseball team.

Future Goals/Plans:  After graduating from Shore, I plan on attending a four year college, graduating, and being happy, healthy, and successful.

Peter Livingston Name:  Peter Livingston

Grade:  Junior

Role Model:  My role model is my brother. He is five years older than me so I always looked up to him. He helped shape me into the person I am today. Whether it was teaching me how to play sports or teaching me math, he was always there. I always wanted to be like him because I admired his intelligence, integrity, and enthusiasm. He was always passionate about music, which therefore inspired me be interested in music. He is the best brother in the world and what I have learned from him has made me into the person I am today.

Teacher with the most impact:  The teacher that has had the greatest impact on me was my English II Honors teacher Mr. Labush. Even though his class was extremely difficult it expanded my mind to think on new levels. His class was more than just reading, it taught me to see the deeper meaning in books and how to apply them to life. It made me think of the deeper philosophical meaning in not only books, but life itself. He made me a better writer, person, and thinker.

Activities:  I am currently the Drum Major of the marching band. I play the saxophone in the jazz band, concert band, and pep band. I am in the Conquer Cancer Club. Out of school, I am a 1st degree black belt at Taekwondo.

Future Goals/Plans:  I plan to go to college after I graduate Shore to study aerospace engineering. One day I hope to work for NASA.
