Name: Andreza Santiago
Grade: Senior (12)
Role Model: I have two very important role models in my life: my Mother and my Aunt. My Mother pushes me to study, and to do my best. My aunt believes in me, and the trust that she has in me pushes me to achieve my goals.
Teacher with the most impact: All of the teachers that work with me have driven me to work hard, and therefore I am successful in my studies. My teachers are a great example, and always pushing me to do my best. However, Mrs. Petillo gives me the extra push I need to believe in myself and helps me to feel confident that I can set my mind to something, and accomplish it!
Activities: I am not currently involved in any after-school activities, because I am taking my free time and concentrating on learning the English Language, and becoming stronger in my writing and communication skills.
Future Plans: I plan on attending College in the fall and majoring in Liberal Arts.

Name: Johnsen, Chris
Grade: Junior (11)
Role Model: My role model would have to be my father Scott Johnsen. Throughout my childhood I noticed his strong work ethic as well as his compassion for his job; a civil engineer. It inspired me to work hard and put forth my best effort at Shore Regional and beyond. He has given me endless support in my participation in football/lacrosse and classes.
Teacher with the most impact: The teacher that has had the most impact on me is Miss Bahrs. As my current AP English teacher and my Sophomore English teacher she has stressed the need for critical reading. She holds you accountable for your findings in the reading and makes you think on your feet. Her class is quite enjoyable because she keeps you engaged and interested with literary piece. Her stressing for the importance of critical reading will benefit me in college and my SAT scores.
Activities: None at the moment. I play football in the fall and lacrosse in the spring.
Future Plans: My future goals are attend a 4 year college or university to major in civil engineering, or marine biology. I'm also interested in applying to one of the United States military academies; preferably the United States Coast Guard Academy. I would also like to receive a scholarship or walk on to play lacrosse for a Division III program.
