Shore Regional High School District

Sports Involvement Club

The Sports Involvement Club was created to increase the awareness of the various sport teams Shore Regional High School has to offer throughout the sending districts’ elementary schools. This club entails videotapes of Shore Regional’s various sports teams and highlights of what these sports teams and programs offer students in the sending district elementary schools. A main objective of this project would be to expose these elementary students to the history and current status of the sports teams at Shore Regional High School (through an assembly and PowerPoint presentation guided by representative athletes from the different sports teams and posted videos depicting each sport Shore Regional offers on the Shore Regional website). This club serves to stimulate greater interest, increase awareness of the requirements to be a part of a varsity sport and possibly elevate talent for the high school sports program. Athlete’s partaking in the Sports Involvement Club have been chosen for their leadership, character and athletic talent by their prospective coaches to represent their sport. The video production group of the Sports Involvement Club is a dedicated group that is ever expanding and helping bring informative and educational power points to the students of the Shore regional sending districts. The Sports Involvement Club will help prepare students for high school sports through exposure and informative details given to them regarding each sport. Each year, this presentation will be updated and expanded upon to include greater participation and presentation.
